For operators ready to exit traditional video without losing customers.

Add A Video Product

FOR AN ISP READY TO GROW WITH STREAMING

Why ISPs Should Add Video

As competition intensifies, broadband-only ISPs are discovering a simple truth: offering a video product increases customer value, stickiness, and market share.

Operators with a bundled TV product consistently see:

  • Higher ARPU
  • Lower churn
  • Stronger competitive differentiation
  • Better broadband upgrade rates

Launching a full video product on your own has been traditionally expensive, slow, and operationally heavy…not anymore!

Why yondoo StreamTV

yondoo StreamTV gives ISPs a turnkey video solution that doesn’t require the traditional headend, complex licensing, or support burden. You get:

A fully managed streaming platform — headend, apps, updates, content rights.

  • Local channel integration – yondoo handles OTA ingest, encoding, and delivery.
  • A modern app ecosystem – Android set-tops, mobile, web, and soon iOS.
  • Lightweight onboarding – fast deployment with minimal lift from your team.
  • A revenue model that scales – operators earn recurring monthly revenue per subscriber.

Perfect for:

  • Greenfield ISPs

  • Fiber builders

  • Municipal broadband service providers

  • Rural ISPs adding video for the first time

  • Broadband-only providers who need a simple, low-risk TV product

Transition Out Of Video

FOR OPERATORS READY TO EXIT VIDEO – WITHOUT LOSING CUSTOMERS

Why Operators Are Leaving Legacy Video

Traditional video is expensive, complex, and increasingly out of sync with consumer expectations. Many operators are looking to exit linear TV but face major challenges:

  • How do we keep broadband customers?
  • How do we maintain franchise compliance?
  • What happens with local channels?
  • How do we avoid churn when we turn off cable TV?

Operators

StreamTV is a next-generation streaming service that integrates live pay TV, free apps, and subscription services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ into one unified, user-friendly interface. For operators exiting traditional video, yondoo provides a turnkey business model: we pay a one-time transition fee for existing video subscribers, migrate them to StreamTV while keeping them on the operator’s broadband network, and then provide monthly recurring revenue through a revenue-share model. Operators can also participate in a co-op marketing program to jointly promote bundled high-speed data and video services.

It is a fully managed video solution, but you don’t have to manage it!

StreamTV provides marketing assistance to partner operators to promote both the Operator’s internet product and StreamTV.

In this video, we share the origin story of yondoo StreamTV—a platform born from our broadband team’s frustration with the video solutions available in the marketplace. We identified a clear gap: operators needed a high-value service that reflects how customers actually consume video, without the high costs or complexity of legacy systems.

yondoo StreamTV was built to solve that problem. Our goal was to create a next-generation video service that adds value to an operator’s offering rather than complicating it.

We invite you to explore how this approach can help your customers and your business. Your feedback is always welcome as we continue to innovate and improve the experience.

In this video, we explain how our three core divisions—DoD services, rural broadband operations, and IPTV consulting—led to the creation of yondoo StreamTV. Our broadband team saw the need for a next-generation video solution that aligns with today’s market demands.

yondoo StreamTV delivers added value to end users and provides a modern, low-lift option for operators who want to exit traditional video operations.

yondoo StreamTV removes the friction between live TV and subscription apps, letting viewers move seamlessly between channels and services like Netflix and Hulu. Operators eliminate the cost and complexity of running video while keeping subscribers on their network, improving retention and protecting the 20% who want both broadband and video. The platform also provides a one-time transition payment plus recurring monthly revenue. No other solution combines this level of end-user experience with operator-friendly economics.

With yondoo StreamTV, the operator is not a sub-distributor. yondoo provides its own video service over the operator’s broadband network and is fully responsible for all distribution rights and programming agreements. Because yondoo owns and manages the video subscriber relationship, no transport rights are required from the operator. This turnkey model is ideal for operators who find video too complex and want to offload the entire burden while keeping customers on their network.

StreamTV is a unified yondoo brand, delivered as a turnkey solution. Operators do not white-label or rename the service. However, there are co-branding opportunities: every market includes a local origination channel where operators can feature their own branding, community content, and messaging tied to their internet service. This allows operators to maintain a local presence while StreamTV remains the consistent, unified app and experience.

There are two billing options for StreamTV:

1

1. yondoo bills the customer directly, managing all billing and collections.

1

2. A combined bill is possible through the operator, as long as the bill clearly identifies StreamTV as a yondoo-provided service (to maintain compliance and avoid sub-distribution issues).

Both approaches keep the operator’s broadband relationship intact while ensuring clear service attribution.

yondoo StreamTV handles all programming agreements on behalf of the operator, including network affiliation agreements, retransmission consent (RCA) deals, and any content rights not available through the NCTC. yondoo manages all negotiations, executes the contracts, and handles the required reporting to networks, broadcasters, and the NCTC. This turns one of the biggest operational headaches for small and mid-sized operators into a fully managed, turnkey process.

TV customers can contact yondoo StreamTV directly for full support, just as they would with a traditional video provider. In many cases, operators may receive the first call and simply confirm that the customer’s internet connection is working properly. After that, operators can perform a warm handoff to yondoo for Tier 2 video support, ensuring a seamless experience for the subscriber.

Yes. yondoo StreamTV delivers local broadcast channels based on the subscriber’s DMA, which is a core part of the platform’s value proposition. Providing DMA-specific local channels strengthens operators’ competitive advantage and ensures subscribers receive the local news, sports, and broadcast content they expect. StreamTV is designed to go as “local” as possible to support operators in serving their communities.

yondoo StreamTV holds the franchise and manages all required regulatory filings, including biannual copyright filings and franchise fee reporting. This removes a major operational burden from the operator, eliminating one of the most time-consuming and complex pain points associated with running a video service. yondoo ensures full compliance so operators don’t have to manage any of the regulatory workflow.

Yes. yondoo StreamTV will launch out-of-home streaming in Q1-2026, enabling customers to watch on remote devices while away from home. Availability of specific channels depends on individual content agreements, but many NCTC contracts and direct deals include out-of-home rights. For example, a subscriber in St. Louis can access eligible content while vacationing in Florida. In addition, customers can use the legacy TV Everywhere platform anywhere in the U.S., providing nationwide access to participating networks.

Does StreamTV support MDUs and hotels?

Yes. yondoo StreamTV supports deployments in both MDUs and hotels, working closely with the local operator to ensure the service is
positioned strategically. These locations are often important competitive touchpoints for operators, and StreamTV can be integrated
as part of a coordinated local strategy. yondoo collaborates with the operator to address the unique needs of each property and ensure
a smooth deployment.

StreamTV uses multiple ingestion methods depending on what’s required for each market. Local channels may be acquired via fiber, direct OTA capture, or SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) when appropriate. Once acquired, channels are brought into yondoo’s master headend, where they are transcoded and delivered over StreamTV’s private CDN architecture. yondoo also has a presence in multiple data centers and can use public CDNs when needed. This flexible architecture allows StreamTV to reliably source locals across geographically dispersed areas.

Yes. yondoo StreamTV includes access to the RSNs that are part of each local market’s channel lineup. RSNs are a critical component of local content strategies, and StreamTV prioritizes them to ensure the platform remains relevant and competitive in each DMA. When RSNs are available in a market’s contractual rights, StreamTV includes them to meet subscriber expectations and maintain a strong local offering.

Does StreamTV support MDUs and hotels?

Today, yondoo StreamTV is certified on an Android streaming device, which ensures the processing power needed to run the application smoothly. Many smart TVs and lower-end devices (like basic Fire Sticks) do not yet have sufficient performance to handle StreamTV’s advanced features reliably. While support for more devices and smart TVs is expected in the future, operators today typically deploy at least one Android set-top box per household to ensure consistent, high-quality performance across all StreamTV features.
